Heinous take. Weegar hasn't played well as the 1D, but Montour hasn't done anything special on the bottom pair. The last month, definitely Monty > Weegs.

Most accurate ranking IMO currently. Believing Chia will switch places with Monty come PO time1. Ek
2. Fors
3. Monty & Weegs
4 Gudas & Chia
5 Carl & Hagg & Bohm
6. Kiersted
I don't think is hate, the guy is just plain vanilla, he is not flashy in any way, so he fades in the background, his game is extremely simple because he has lots of limitations besides the ones imposed by the coach. Carlsson joined the play and move pretty fast aggresively, just 2 different stylesHonestly dont get the hate for Hagg. Yes he took a hooking penalty to tie the game last night, but that was after a scramble in which Giroux nearly scored and the puck bounced over his stick. It wasnt even a result of bad coverage.
He just seems "there" all game which isnt even a bad thing at all. And it's really weird too cause his underlying numbers are good for a 3rd pair defenseman. He plays an incredibly simple game which isnt a bad thing at all.
