Don’t believe so. Even then I don’t know we would’ve been in position to get him, without Ekblad on LTIR and while making the other moves we did.

I like this trade; weaponizes capspace to get a decent option to fill in for Ekblad. Curious about pairings, my preference would be: Forsling-Weegar/Chiarot-Montour/Hagg-Gudas.

In the playoffs, I feel a lot better with plugging Hagg in than Carlsson or lindbohm

Depth move for cheap but Hagg is nothing special from what I gather. Decent defensive skills like blocking shots but hasn't done well like most D men in Buffalo's system.

Probably a #6 guy if anything.
