Great accomplishment for the franchise, it's a major sign on beginning of a new era. It doesn't guarantee anything but I hope it gives the team confidence, they can beat anybody

This season deserved so much more than just a division banner which is why I thought this was so important. Obviously there’s a bigger goal but this is probably 2nd best and in the likely case that they don’t win the Cup it will be nice to have this to honor the season forever.

As for the Cup, I thought this was such a simple way to think of this yet it hadn’t really come across my mind this way til I read it:



Now that could all go out the window game 1 but we have the third best home record in NHL history and all we have to do is defend home ice. Simple enough

There was that one pens(?) fan who made a thread about florida in the pre-season. I think he said we have the best roster on paper. He believed in this team more than I did at the time...
