Former NBA player Glen 'Big Baby' Davis sentenced to 40 months in insurance fraud scheme

Ex-NBA player Glen Davis has been sentenced to 40 months in prison after his Nov. 2023 conviction for defrauding the league's healthcare plan.

Davis was convicted of health care fraud, wire fraud, conspiracy to make false statements and conspiracy to commit health care and wire fraud. He faced up to 20 years in prison.

In addition to his prison sentence, Davis was ordered to pay $80,000 in restitution. Among the conditions of his supervised release are attending a financial management class and mandatory drug treatment.
