I’m reminded of our series against the Flames. It was almost more stressful than it was fun. Getting clapped in game 1 was brutal but the Oilers composed themselves and won 4 in a row.

No matter what happens this series the Oilers are ready, they’ve had so many tough series over the past few years they’re becoming a hardened veteran playoff team. It’s time to separate from the pretenders

It still is annoying year 8 in the mcdrai era and we still don't have a consistent winger for line 1 . Janmark / Fogele on line 1 is not something you expect on a cup team lol. Need to get the lead the nucks will play muddy all series and use obstruction/sit back

Gregor made an interesting point that while it'll probably be a rotation this will be a way for Knoblauch to get Holloway some more minutes.

One of the changes that Knoblauch made when he came in was to try get his bottom 6 more engaged and playing on the PK.

As Gregor eluded too, depending on the penalty situation if Janmark and Foegele are out on the PK more this will probably lead to more minutes for Holloway.

And considering how we started the series against LA, going after Vancouver with speed and physical play is going to be needed early on. Something Holloway can do all while being a threat offensively.

I mean we have Nuge, McDavid, Leon, Kane and Hyman the past few years now in the top 6
