OK, so, you got my attention on this one. I mapped out the walking distance from my house to my favorite donut shop. Achieving the "lofty goal" of 14.5k steps per day established by the subject research would require me to visit the shop twice a day. But if that's what the scientists say it takes, consider me "dedicated" for two dozen per day ... for the sake of my health.
