I don't understand why anyone complained about Torts scratching Couturier.
I think he now has 4 point and 0 goals in his last 21 or 22 games played?
One of the narratives earlier in the year for why they were doing so well was because they had him back and he missed all of last year and only played 29 games theyear before, so that was one of the huge differences in them last year and this year. He was producing considerably better early on, but nothing outstanding.
He may just be a roasted marshmallow at this point.
Unless it was just because Couturier seemed baffled as to why he was scratched and Torts didn't brief him?
He was baffled, yes, that was part of it,
He contributed early, probably Torts rode him too hard, and then Torts dropped to the bottom six when he faded.
