And no back support…if he had support you might take that chance to lay the body, he had none…just a bad bad read.We all knew he was going to do this—chase the hit on adrenaline, but you did it with 30 seconds left in a period with their entire top 5 man unit on the ice.
He’s been better than coleJuulsen shouldn’t see the ice for the rest of this round. That’s just not ok. It wasn’t ok in the regular season and doubly so in the 2nd round.
Guy just doesn’t learn.
It’s not an unfortunate read. He’s done this numerous times in big games this season.Juulsen has played well tonight, but an unfortunate read there.
Got the split, always the goal. Just want to see them carry play in the third and make Pickard make some saves. If he does, so be it. Just don't go quietly into the night.
Id be the happiest with 3 new facesRight D needs some work next off season.
Okay, if they can somehow tie this up, I will have been proven wrong so many times. This looks unsurmountable given how they are playing.
He has NO ONE to play with. Mikheyev is a 4th liner and Karlsson is a tweener right now, albeit performing well considering the context. Not a threat at all.I disagree with the EP bashing
There was a sequence where he was battling with two oilers along the board in the offensive zone and it took like 5 seconds before any of his linemate came to help him out
Garland not one timing it made me cringe so hardHow the f*** do you put 14 SOG when the Oilers are playing Pickard?
Why do we always do this
Splitting up McDavid and Draisaitl works when Miller is having a night off and Pettersson looks like D-Petey out there. We look like shit.
He’s looked checked out man.Can we get Zad to lay out Draisaitl already.

Tocchet needs to trust Bleuger to be the 3rd line center and Lafferty as the 4th line center. The team needs to match the fire power right now - bottom 6 utility, defensive depth, and goaltending all favour the Canucks. Oilers are killing the team by stacking their top lines and the threat of their powerplay has the Canucks off their game.
