Calling Zadorov a goof with Kane on your roster is funny.

In a series with Zadorov, Kane, Perry & Nurse, Soucy was the idiot that got suspended and apparently costed his team the game.

For a team with such fire power in Hughes, Petey, Miller, etc it’s crazy that their success hinges on Soucy.

Imagine if Draisatl and McDavid didn’t get a single point (Miller, Petey) and Kulak got suspending and Oil fans started bragging about almost winning with Kulak out.
That was bullshit because Hyman ,crosschecked Zadorov in head too. Both should have gotten a game

Good game. I thought that was the Oilers best overall game this Series. Picard looks better than Skinner, now it's a best of 3. The Canucks need to bring their A game play like they did ik that 3rd. Gonna be a great finish to this Series.

Heartbreaking loss for the Canucks after a terrific 3rd period push and the 2 goals to tie it. This series is going 7.
Gotta start earlier than the 3rd period. Loved the pressure in that period but they were pretty terrible up to that point. Could really have taken control in the 1st if their pp wasn’t so god awful

Draisaitl has eight multi-point games in Edmonton’s 1st nine playoff tilts—first player to do that since Darryl Sittler in 1977.

Draisaitl is 3 points away from reaching 100 playoff points which would make him the 3rd fastest to reach this milestone in NHL history, only trailing Gretzky and Lemieux. And if he does it in the next game or in game 6, even McDavid won't catch him probably (4 points behind with the same amount of games played).

I think he is really good doing this playoff thing.

Pretty impressive how game after game after game after game, 9.25mil Darnell Nurse manages to be bottom 2 in game score along with his defensive partner.

Most players have some variety, but nope. Dead last every single game.

Soucy is a #4, the fact that you believe the Canucks would have won the game if he was in is quite something.

Guess what? The Oilers would have won the game by 2+ goals if Henrique was playing. My crystal ball said so
Sone of the Canucks fans on here would blame a guy slipping on a banana peel in the parking lot for them losing the game.

The aim for tonight wasn’t to win the game.

The aim is to compete, to minimize the damage on the PK ( the refs will call a ridiculous amount of penalties against the Canucks) and to hammer Drai every chance they get.

Losing the game just means it's a best of 3, great place to be for the underdog.

Winning would have been gravy.
"Yah, fellas give it your best out there but we're not aiming to win or anything"

Is that why they let them have it at the end?

I see Nurse was on the ice for both Vancouver goals. Surprised he hasn't gotten benched yet.

Vancouver knows they can score at will in this series. And barely lost despite facing a desperate Edmonton team.

Oilers won the game. Vancouver wins the series imo.

Score at will? So they lost 2 games tand barely showed up just to make it interesting?

what a dumb take, the nucks have had the same amount of powerplays as the oilers while being outplayed overall. Hot take, but a bad one.
