Hallam says there's a good chance he's available to play tomorrow, was just feeling a little unwell this morning.

Sörensen took that spot at practice though so no thank you.
Sörensen and Wallstedt are the only two players not to see a single second of ice time in this tournament so far (For sweden). Would have to think they’ll play FUS if he’s out for tomorrow. I mean it’s not a f***ing charity so give it to the best player.

Sweden has always been like this. The socialist way, and it has failed many times.
Don’t think this is a socialist thing. Every coach has his own favourites who will usually be allowed to stick around until they’re beyond useless. It’s the same with every coach they all need to learn when it’s time to kill their darlings.

Yep, and Hallams favorites are Sörensen and Linus Johansson. They will stick around for his entire tenure.

Fortunately, I don't think Hallam is as crazy as (Bluff och) BÅG who brought his favorites (Magnus Johansson and Weinhandl) to a best-on-best

Do you think he’ll try to persuade the NHL to let him bring them to the four nations?
- Hello is this Mr. Bettman?
- Yes
- Okay well this is Sam Hallam, look I know we were only supposed to bring NHL players to the four nations, so can you please make an NHL team sign the Sören and the Limpan? I will even pay for their salaries myself.
- Sam we talked about this last week. No NHL team has cap space to waste on such useless players regardless if they get reimbursed or not.
- What do you mean useless?! Please Gary I need my snuttefiltar Sören and Limpan!!
- No Sam, this is final. Please don’t call me about this again.
- But but..
- No Sam
- Okay, how about Lukas Bengtsson?
*phone clicks, long beep*

Sweden has 4 games left against Kaz,Lat,Fra and Svk.

Is there going to be changes in PP1 or will it be the same?

Last game against Germany Hedman wasnt so good but Karlsson was on fire.

What do you think will Karlsson score more points in remaining games than Hedman?

Doubt we'll see changes to it.

You'd of course expect Karlsson to outscore Hedman.

Hopefully Olofsson has calibrated his shot after the Germany game and we will see better accuracy and production from him in the coming games. At least he managed to score one and get over that first hurdle. Thought he did well, overall.

Would you mind if I follow your thread from now on instead of finnish fans one. The reasons are all crystal clear. I want to enjoy and I want too enjoyment. Your team has come to Prague to rule here. Our team sits in the shitbucket righ on up to their faces already. And you swedes are fine people. I promise I wont troll

Your request for asylum on the swedish board has been approved.

The reasoning behind this is that you run risk of persecution and oppression if you were to return to the finnish board.

I really want to see Finland-Sweden QF now. Because that would mean Finland actually makes it into the quarterfinal.

Swedish team has been impressive and I imagine they'll beat this Finnish team easily.

Maybe not easily but I’d agree that Sweden would go in to that game as heavy favourites. I guess even Jukka Jalonen had a best by date. Ideally no one should coach a team for that long. But a legend is a legend.

Yeah nothing can take away the success we have had with him and it is time to have someone else coaching the team.

But thats way too much off topic. Congrats on the win today and I expect you guys to win the rest of your group games. Quarterfinal as well whether it is Finland or Austria.

I almost hope they loose their focus a bit in atleast one game, all teams need reality checks. It’s just rolling on by. Nothing has been a problem not even the U.S, atleast not really. It’s giving me way too many 2002 olympic game vibes.

I feel like that besides the USA game, Sweden hasn't been tested and they have been coasting game after game. Just doing the minimum to win the game.

Sweden has not reached SF since 2018. Why would that change? We had good teams 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 on paper and still failed. We cant even score more than 3 goals on kazaks and poles. We dont have the grit to win a playoff match.

Our 4 possible qf opponents;

Czechia, we are not beating them when they are playing at home.

Finns, Jalonen is too good of a coach to fail second year in row.

Canada, always wins and have a strong roster.

Swiss, very strong roster.

It would be just our luck to win the group in convincing fashion just to draw the home team Czech that has been infused with Pasta and Necas in the QF.

Pasta wont make it in time.

Boston isnt out yet, and teams these days have exit meetings and exit medical exams. It's not like before to just hit a plane home the next day.
