Bettman's playoff format is weak.

His playoff format was the 1-8 conference playoffs which he copied from NBA

NHL before 1994 had DIVISIONAL playoffs....to get to the Campbell Finals u had to get through the Symthe DIVISION

It wasn't that great TBH. Boston, Colorado and Carolina all failed to complete their comebacks, and honestly I range from "meh" to "detest" for the teams that remain. No real good stories. So, pretty bad.

EDM vs VAN saved the 2nd round. If it wasn't for them, it was an underwhelming 2nd round. COL vs DAL wasn't near as exciting as we all hoped.
