GM builds a horrific lineup, Beal out there doing cardio, no future draft picks, no cap space....
It's the coaches fault
Yes I would like $24 million to go away
Charles Barkley's rant about how coaches are always blamed instead of pointing to the ones who put together those trash ass teams was on point.
The Suns were swept in the first round but they were swept by the number one defensive team in the NBA. A team anchored by the current defensive player of the year who are also suffocating the defending champions. There is no way that any coach would have gotten this poorly built Suns team out of the first round no matter how much ownership talks about their expectations.Yep, coaches can do their best on the personnel they have. If the GM has visions of a big 3 but they also supply them supporting players who don't fit the coaches scheme, who's fault is that?
Not every coach is a Phil Jackson, Greg Popovich, Steve Kerr, Eric Spolstra.

And benches with quality contributorsDefense wins championships, the last couple years of NBA champs had a pedigree on defense. Minnesota is another example of it.
Vogel is too nice of a guy tbh, he is an easy fall guy for shitty front office decisions2022: vogel fired after GM gives him a shitty roster
2024: vogel fired after GM gives him a shitty roster
suns were just flat out dumb for hiring a defensive coach when their core consists of 3 offensive minded players who can't defend well
I agree, there wasn't any fire or passion. How can you motivate your player by talking softly and not reacting.Vogel is too nice of a guy tbh, he is an easy fall guy for shitty front office decisions
