This player is tearing up the Magnus league in France. Small, but bulky at 5'9 and 183 lbs.

I'm wondering if NHL teams are going to give him a call. Maybe he plays a few years in another country before coming over like Pierre-Édouard Bellemare did.

Bellemare is a very effective player in the game without the puck.

Simonsen is an offensive talent. He will simply be a player who will play in a very good European championship and for France, that is already a lot.

The French prospect to watch is Alexandre Monarque. Best French U18 player when he was only 15 years old. Best U16 player playing in Switzerland.

He is ahead of Alexandre Texier at the same age but probably less physical.
