So I ran into a bouncing full tire tread on the freeway the other day.
In the first picture that's the little lip that's normally bent at a 90 degree angle under the fender. The tire hit the front bumper low, went under, ripped the wheel well cover off and pulled that lip out from the fender.
Best part is I was driving this as a loaner while my seats were getting redone
