As I walk to work, listening to hockey podcasts and reading the HF board while looking across the harbour, I thought it’d be cool to see photos from you guys. This is Wellington Harbour, with the rowing club coming in from their morning out. New Zealand has a history of rowing achievement.

PS im not creeping on you, I don’t want street addresses haha.

oh man I wish I was living on an island right now especially on one that has no covid

thanks for the nice pics, are there any advantages of using kite over drone? flight clearance?
Fewer restrictions/scrutiny, and similarly, the general public tends to be appreciative of kites but wary of drones. Another consideration is that you need a fairly big and expensive drone to lift a decent quality camera. With a kite you can do it for less than $100. Plus I just enjoy flying kites.

I took these in July at Gratwick Park in North Tonawanda. My car was stuffed to the gills with things I was moving but when I saw all the kites I decided to stop and take a break.
