No Prior Knowledge of "Flyers"
No to Subban. No to Spurgeon. Yes to Parayko (if it can be done).
It can’t, I’m almost certain of that.

Why the infatuation with 165 lb Spurgeon? the team is too small already. I would be very excited about a trade that brought in Parayko
Voracek & Ghost for Parayko & Bozak
I don't think size is an issue on our defense. Provorov isn't small. Sanheim isn't small. Myers isn't small. Morin definitely isn't small. Why the infatuation with 165 lb Spurgeon? the team is too small already. I would be very excited about a trade that brought in Parayko

Please tell us all again how the coach with the 12th most wins in NHL history would be a mediocre hire for the Flyers, then insult others as fans in the same night.
Wow.

We don't need a big defenseman. We just need a really good defenseman.

I am all onboard for EK.
Provorov-Karlsson
Sanheim-Gudas
Ghost-Myers
Morin
Gudas would be our worst puck mover by a mile and he himself is not that bad. I don't know another team that would have a D core that deep in puck movers.
D men are just too costly to trade for. I'd rather go after the FA and go after a forward via trade.
Go get Karlsson AND Duchene. Buyout MacDonald and trade Gudas and we are fine cap wise. **** it. I wanna get spicy.
I mean that would be the simple classic Flyers offseason. It would pretty much satisfy everyone. It would improve the team but not cost any crucial roster players or prospects. Id try to keep Gudas and just let him walk at the end of the year...but if they needed to clear his salary Morin could just replace him. Trade HOG for a decent 13th forward.

I am sure you know we would have to add
I don’t disagree at the values but duchene at 9.5 is instantly nausea inducing. If they were to somehow sign Karlsson and Duchene, they'd have to trade Ghost or Gudas. Even after trading Hagg and buying out MacDonald, they'd still be more than $1 million over the cap. This is from capfriendly and I may be off on the RFA extensions, but i'm guessing it's pretty close.

Duchene isn't in the same ballpark as a player as Stone, so if he gets $9+M, it's a gross overpay.
