That breaks my heart, especially at this time of year. The puppy we lost earlier this year loved the snow, and I miss her being in the snow this year. She loved to eat it.

My dogs getting up there. She's my first and I have had her since the move to CA. When she goes I will be unreachable for a few days.

I'll just remember

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I have replaced hockey with crafting (odd swap, I know). Here are some coasters I made. Might be one of my favorite projects....super easy and it's CHEAP. Tie 4 together with a pretty ribbon, and it's a cute gift.

Anyone know the best place to get Ugg slippers? I need to get a pair of slippers and I hate most kinds. My regular Uggs are so comfy but I don't like wearing them in my apartment because I have all carpet.

So Santa is bringing a pair of classic tall black boots. Hope she likes them.

Thanks!! I own 3 pairs. 2 tall boots in black and grey and a pair of short tan boots. I scotch guard them all every year and I replace the bottom lining when need be for comfort.

I made 6 chocolate/ cinnamon coffee cakes and 2 almond poppy seed cakes. Tomorrow it's apple pie. My house smells good.

I finished wrapping and finally put the rest of the stuff on the tree.

My daughter is at the gym..ooops she just got home. . It's nice having her around ( she lives in Calif).

I'm watching fake diamond jewelry - so sad, because some of the designs are so pretty.

How sad is this - I'm sitting here watching a jewelry show and just ordered an audio cable for my satellite radio and a Nite Ize carabiner for my purse. I feel like I should order some jewelry to get my girly-girl card back.
