I'm constantly pissed at my sens for having a flat-footed powerplay (admittedly it's getting better now).
Some guys like Marner, Stutzle, Crosby, etc., seem to cover huge ground during a powerplay within the ozone. And some teams seem to have everybody in motion all the time on a powerplay.
Do any metrics exist for capturing these differences in strategy/style?
Like distance travelled or average ozone player speed of a team's powerplay?
I realize there'd be some nuance to the metric to avoid dump and chase type strategies from skewing results, for example.
I really just want to know which teams have the most fluid up-tempo powerplay styles (once they've established themselves in the ozone).
