Everything I'm reading about this guy tells me that if we remember he exists a year from now, he will be the next Eric Lindros.
Except a lot smaller and less talented?Everything I'm reading about this guy tells me that if we remember he exists a year from now, he will be the next Eric Lindros.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. Like, it's more than a major a game. Probably a bunch of 15s and 20s in there as well, but it's really a staggering number.Impressive to have 37 points in 49 games when you spend 5+ minutes a game in the penalty box.
I don't even know how it is possible to get that many PIMs and not be considered a complete goon.
I want Eetu Tuulola to say, "Anything is Pospisil in this life."
More importantly, can you imagine E2 and Pospisil on the same line together? I imagine it would be the 4th or 3rd line, but damn are those two going to just run over everyone on the ice. (I realize the odds of both making the NHL is rare, but it'll be fun in the AHL)
Played his first game of the season this morning.
0 goals, 3 assists, 2 shots, +2. All 5v5 points.
0(!!!!) PIM
He is the third oldest from Pospisil clan. According to discussion there are:
- Michal Pospisil, born year 1993, (not active now)
- Kristian Pospisil, 1996 (last season in ECHL)
- Martin Pospisil, 1999
- Timur Pospisil, 2010
- Kilian Pospisil, 2017
What a weird name for a slovak!
Timur isn't a russian name. It's a turk name.Russian. Not such an exotic name as Kilian.

Timur is a Turkic name, but it also has roots in Chagatai (a Turkic-Mongol hybrid language that was spoken from Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Northern China, and parts of India). Because eastern Russia is in Asia and for a long time was actually part of Mongolia, some of the language and names transferred into use (people always forget that 78% of Russia's landmass is in Asia, as well as roughly 25% of it's population, so Turkic-Mongol names that are common in central Asia aren't uncommon in Russia either).Really? There was a classic book "Timur and his suite" (Timur i jego komanda) from 1940 by Arkadij Gajdar. So i thought, its classic Russian name.
