Since his OHL season was cancelled, he was loaned to the Slovakian pro men's league, where he had a very respectable 19 pts in 32 games and was +6. Good for the Kings to get a look at where he is in his development and work with staff over here. If the OHL resumes in September, he should rejoin his team in Kingston.

The Reign have 10 games and 3 weeks of the season left. After his quarantine is over, there's nothing left except offseason workouts.

And that still may be true, but I think we have to keep in mind that quarantines, work visa's in the era of C-19 all come into play here. May not be so easy to just fly into the U.S and lace up the skates.

I saw Chromiak play many games and most of them he had limited minutes on a veteran squad! He could turn out to be quite a find for the Kings if they handle his development probably

Martin Chromiak and Shane Wright will be lethal in Kingston next season! I expect Chromiak to score 100 points! Of course Wright is the consensus numero uno pick for the 2022 draft

Timing is everything. Perhaps Blake thought more Kings players were going to be offloaded at the deadline leaving contract space to add Bulat Shafigullin
