Paul is facing guys with no experience boxing
People like askren live on the ground game
Not sure how much better Woodley is at boxing
Woodley has much better hands than Askren but that’s not saying much. Paul’s team is handpicking his opponents based on who they think he can beat that are still big names. Woodley’s game has always been based around his wrestling and his last few fights he looked terrible, Father Time has caught up to himPaul is facing guys with no experience boxing

Woodley is actually more of a striker than a wrestler, because wrestling was too tiring for him . At his best, the man beat some very good strikers in MMA while standing with them because he was one of the rare MMA fighters who got good at defensee. at his worst, he does nothing because he's too risk-averse to get hurt or get tired.
Woodley likely will just eat some jabs and do f*** all till the end of the bout if his now old-man-chin manages to survive
Yeah, MMA "boxing" and actual boxing are two completely different things.Problem is the way Woodley strikes isn't applicable in boxing. No elbows, kicks, ground and pound, etc...

You'd also never get the Paul's agreeing to that.I wish boxing/mma crossovers basically said no grappling, no submissions, kicks, etc...but elbows allowed. That would be so much more interesting.
Hes just trying to not get hurt and cash that cheque.Typical Woodley so far. No activity. He's not even thinking of actually trying to hit Paul with anything serious.
