Thanks for everyone's work on this. The process is never perfect, but it still amazes me we've been able to keep this league going with the required number of volunteer hours at times like this. I know this isn't your first time taking on this role, so much appreciated Matt. Having done Brock's part of the work for a few years, I know that is no small task as well.
This has happened to me in the past too where a player of mine fell off my roster unbeknownst to me, and I lost him because I didn't point it out fast enough (even though there was a contract). In the end, I came around to realize this was fair because we need to rely on the GMs to be extra diligent along the way to catch errors quickly as part of our quality control. In short, every GM gets screwed in some way if they aren't on top of things 100%. With time constraints we all have, its also understandable GMs will miss things when life doesn't allow this level of diligence.
Utter a small curse, write it off as part of the sim dynamics and move onward.
