Ferrari just went from having the most finely balanced driver lineup to the most awkward one with the signing of LH for 2025.

A 100 million dollar vanity signing. As long as John ElKann is running Ferrari , this team is going nowhere.

Hamilton will be 41 and 42. And he has a whole season of being a lame duck at Mercedes. He'll be shut out of the engineer meetings.

An older WDC winner is not getting any better but his demands are getting bigger and bigger is on your team. The fanbase of this team is extremely toxic and the British media are fans of that driver too.

How does one carefully nudge that driver towards the exit without upsetting the people I mentioned above? Well, you ignore him a little in developing the car, you hire the young new talent instead of the old wingman.

Offer a smaller contract and sandbag the next car. Until a bunch of clowns in Italy pay top dollar to take him off your hands!

Sigma move from the teamboss/co-owner Toto Wolff.
