So sad to lose such a legend of the sport. Only 70 which might sound old to some is over a decade below the life expectancy in Canada which is 82.05 years.

Jacques Lemaire finally talked to the media on the 91.9. He said he have two big regrets about Lafleur. Entrevue avec Jacques Lemaire

Its in french obviously

Lemaire was a f***ing asshole. Great player. Sad human being. They better not even think of thinking of removing his jersey.

Joe Sakic with some great words for Guy. What a player and a man himself. How the heck did this guy fall to 15th in his draft year....133 points in 72 games. But hey, Jayson More, Luke Richardson, Dave Archibald, Keith Osborne were surely better...lolll. Guy was an idol and favorite player while I was quite young. But it switched really early to the great Joe Sakic.

Sad day. Robinson and Shutt are all class. Nice to see Sakic as well. Too bad it was interrupted.

Geez, I was upset when he passed. Must be awful for these guys to deal with.

Still so sad...........hard to believe.
RIP Guy....
He was everyone's favorite player during a time, when the habs had 8-10 hall of famers on it...........
No one does tributes to their stars, the way the habs do, at the BC or a funeral.
Such a sad day for the team, the city, the fans...........the family.

I totally understand your reaction. I'm still feeling the aftershock from Bossy's passing.
The fact that we grew up together, it really hits home. All the exploits, anecdotes and commemorations, I lived them too. He's a big part of my generation and his passing leaves a void that will never be filled.

C'est la vie mon ami.

I'll just blast some Miley through my magic headphones and all will be OK.
