They will be told to stop scoring? :D That doesn't happen.
Good etiquette is to stop celebrating goals not to stop scoring.
Well if I remember it right, the german football national team was told during the intermission of the famous semi-final against brazil, to not score as much as before. ^^

Maybe Latvia and Poland truly doesn't belong to this level, just like that guy in the Polish thread said :sarcasm:

I don't now nothing about BRA71L, but that's how it is... you just stop celebrating goals. Pat your linesmen on the back and go on.

I am aware, but at some point you give the 3rd and 4th line most of the ice time if you are so far ahead. And then the scoring slowes down.
But This feels like the infamous SJ games that we saw this season in the NHL :D

Not if we play like this against direct competitors we dont. Latvian hockey federation will have to make some tough decisions about the coaching staff after the tournament. If it was up to me, id put Ābols as head coach, but he got fired appearently because of some beef with Vītoliņš. Stupid f***ing decision.

Not sure if this lineup I found is confirmed, but we may see Germany play like this.

Lukas Reichel – Wojciech Stachowiak – JJ Peterka
Frederik Tiffels – Nico Sturm – Dominik Kahun
Leo Pföderl – Marc Michaelis – Yasin Ehliz
Parker Tuomie – Maximilian Kastner – Alexander Ehl

Jonas Müller – Kai Wissmann
Maksymilian Szuber – Moritz Müller
Fabian Wagner – Lukas Kälble
Colin Ugbekile – Tobias Fohrler

Philipp Grubauer
Mathias Niederberger
Two Polish born players. Poland could use them both, please, thanks.

I guess Germany has more or less secured a QF spot now, despite clear loses to USA and Sweden. Beat both Slovakia and Latvia, their closest competitors, only need to take care of buisness against KAZ, POL and FRA now. Can probably even afford to lose some points in those games

Nah, we would really like to keep them, sorry.

But maybe Poland can convince one or more of these guys:
Jakub Borzecki, Macjei Rutkowski, Arkadiusz Dziambor or Rayan Bettahar.
