The only way I would think so, is with the cap hit we wouldve got him at. I'd guess about half of what Bobs is.

Otherwise, he's too much of a mess and a distraction.

I'd literally take an open roster spot at half of Bob's cap hit over Bob, so yeah, missed opportunity.

Just think of Bob's contract as the price to get Zito. If we had Lehner or someone else, and he played a bit better than Bob or even on par, we may have kept Tallon.

What are the playoffs like this season? Are they 1-6+wc+wc, or are they in division series like last season? Wouldn’t it be too eight teams, with the last two spots being the WC?
