This game should be much harder if Nylander is back. I think the Leafs tried to be too physical in the last game and it cost them. Let's see if Domi can reign himself in, the new Kadri without the talent and even less intelligence.

I believe in Sway or Linus, whoever plays and whatever the strategy is, there isn't a bad choice to make. Both are way better than the Leafs' goalies.

Yay 7:00! Let's make it 2-0 tonight.

Have to expect something from at least one of Matthews or Marner in this game, they offered next to nothing on Saturday. Nylander too should he play. The Leafs' stars have to fire, their depth won't do it for them.

Toronto tried to be physical and aggressive in G1 and it didn't work, indeed it was only detrimental. Do they double down on it here, or simply get away from something they're not good at anyway and just focus on playing hockey? They have the talent and the puck movement to trouble the Bruins, but the focus and commitment have to be there.

Boston don't have to change too much from G1. As so often, zone exits can be better, they can look to generate some more possession and a few more shots - the Leaf goalies aren't good, so work them as hard as you can. The Zacha line can definitely offer a lot more offensively. But otherwise stick to the Bruins identity and keep dominating the key moments. The Leafs 'won' all the advanced stats last time, often pretty comfortably, but it meant little, because the Bs made the plays that counted, didn't give Toronto too many serious looks 5v5, and Sway took care of the rest.

Fully expect G2 to be closer, but hopefully our boys can edge out on top again and take a 2-0 lead to Ontario.

What a nice pronlem to have: what goalie to use? Swayman has a great track record against the Leafs, this season. Stay with him. Swayman has hothand, always stay with the hothand. Ullmark is rested alternate goalies, that was the plan, go with the plan. So I am for going with the hot hand. That would be Swsyman for the second game.

Defense wins hockey games especially playoff games. The Bruins strength in defense is McEvoy and Lindholm together. First game McEvoy and Lindholm were split, not together, that was not the plan but it worked out well, so stay with this plan, split McEvoy and Lindholm for the second game, continue with success.

First game strategy was successful so go with the same strategy for the second game. No reason to change. DeBrusk had a hot hand in game one, not unusual for him to get hot when it is money time and for him it is money time, contract time. He will want to break the bank.

Let's Go Bruins

Leafs will come out hard first 5-10 minutes, match that intensity. We win this game it will go a loooong way to win thhe series, can't see us losing 4 out of 6 games.
Good points lopey. Leafs are using Florida Panthers play book. Wear the Bruins down physically and intimidation. The only problem is they aren't the Panthers.
Bruins just need to match or bump up the physicality. Play the same style that got them the first win.
