It is. Think that's a lot to give up as well for someone who is declining. But Boston is clearly in win now mode after all the money they gave to BrownDamn that’s a great pickup for the C’s
Last year of his contract unless he picks up his player option. And he would’ve been in demand around the league too. Better to pay up and keep him out of Miami. It is. Portland can now flip Williams or maybe Ayton if they want too.
Good trade for the Celtics and obvious upgrade. I've never been a Williams guy and Brogdon is also always hurt. If the Celtics can stay healthy then their top six is loaded but of course that's a big if, even more so than other teams. The big man depth will be a huge question mark.
God forbid Portland keep him and win some games for the fans. Some dumb tanking post will probably follow this one.
Hey Joel......everybody is saying it and they said it before Milwaukee got Lillard and Boston got Holiday.Your laugh of the day.
Cant surpass you when they've never been behind you.
Not sure what people expect Embiid to say there. He's the reigning league MVP and one of the best players in the league so of course he's going to have self belief. Also, the Sixers did just go further than the Bucks in the playoffs.
It's similar to Butler saying they're going back to the finals and winning it this time while the general public is writing them off already. All of these guys top level athletes have that mindset and aren't going to talk about teams passing them in the offseason. In Jimmy's case, he just spanked both the Bucks and Celtics (again) and believes they'll do it again.
How about realistic like this: " Sure Boston and Milwaukee both improved their lineups but people should not overlook the 76ers. I still feel like we have a great chance to go all the way this season." Of course the trick here would be to say this with a straight face. Not sure what people expect Embiid to say there.
Can Embiid whine his way to the Finals? How about realistic like this: " Sure Boston and Milwaukee both improved their lineups but people should not overlook the 76ers. He'd have won at least a couple of Championships already if whining was the determining factor. Can Embiid whine his way to the Finals?
