I suppose you are not old enough to remember Foster Hewit.AH that sucks. Definitely had the most iconic voice to ever call hockey games. Much prefer him even when he started making mistakes to any pbp guy today not named Chris Cuthbert.

Yeah, he remembered every single leaf players names…. Yes he was their play by play guy for pretty much all of their games… but just remember being irked at his unprofessionalism when on national broadcasts, and still assuming the viewing audience were also leaf homers.That was mostly an age thing, I think.
