Yeah, I'm not holding my breath for a miracle 3 game run, just will be nice enough to make a legit series.

That's how I feel. They gave us one win here, I'm not expecting them to beat the best road team in hockey that is 4-1 on the road these playoffs and just dismantled the Avalanche in Denver by a combined 9-2 score.

In all likelihood, this was the Avs' last stand and the Stars take game 6.

The Dallas coverage on the MacK goal was Avs level bad. One defender goes with Lehk. Another guy way too deep giving up the middle of the ice.

Two Dallas forwards way off to the other side. And another forward coming back way too late.

He was 21st in the league in TOI overall and 1st amongst forwards. 2nd in TOI/game only to Mikko Rantanen.

Ok. Sure. 41st in TOI/GP. Not total TOI (as he played all 82 games). My original response was in response to how much he played “every game”.

That's still incredibly high for a forward. Since 2005-2006 only 13 forwards have played more per game than MacKinnon did this season, one of which was Rantanen.

They are surely exhausted.
