Very interesting MacK post gm presser. Saw similar affect from jokic when they were down 0-2.

I have an observation on this. Which I was correct on with jokic.

Mackinnon tired. Makes sense. He carried this team all season and Bednar played him 90 minutes every game

Nothing like the Bruins and Canes when they had their backs against the wall. That's why I'm not sure the Avs have another gear.

How? This game was very similar to both games. Boston fought tooth and nail until the very last second to hold off Florida. Carolina needed a huge 3rd period in order to get by NYR.

I’d bet Tanev is pretty injured at this point. Colton catching him in this game is a win in my book.

I know some people are not happy with him in this series, but I think he's been pretty great. He's putting up good numbers too. I think the only big problem with that line is the pair of 39 year old legs that plays left wing.

His goal came when no one was checking him and even then, I don't think he was at the full speed we have seen from him.

It's clear he's not suffering from a UBI though. lol

Very happy this team also started playing Tanev physically way more. Edmonton probably still wins anyways but don’t underestimate the effect a broken and missing Tanev had on the Oilers beating the Flames in 22

I'd like to say that goal wakes Mack up but after looking at him I think he needs more sleep.

He didn't defer to MacK for example...... took over the game.... took it away from Heiskanen.

It will really help if the Avs can score 1st and play with a lead from the get go because then Dallas have to react and try to tie the game and they won’t be able to play the same defensive game as they do when they have the lead
