A real jerk thing
I could be wrong, but I don't think the players put themselves over the boards. The Pens powerplay issues have absolutely nothing to do with the coaching and everything to do with the players.

Next thing you'll be telling me Nubsy is that they're walking (skating) on water!Technically, they do.
So back in the 90's, did the coaches run the poweplay, or did Mario? It's really no different.I could be wrong, but I don't think the players put themselves over the boards.
I don't think that's a good thing to bring back, no. In fact, I think it shows that the coach is pretty f***ing weak.So back in the 90's, did the coaches run the poweplay, or did Mario? It's really no different.
I think they are. I don't think any coach has ever stood up to the big 3 and told them that this PP scheme they like doesn't work. The issue is if any coach changes anything PP related all 3 of them are like fish out of water.I don't think that's a good thing to bring back, no. Ironically enough the Rangers have had good 5v5 analytics this year but they're not getting god tier goaltending and finishingRangers took the step back that many people saw. Shocker a team that relied on inflated power play and goaltending numbers last season can’t sustain that into the next season.

I love how awful he looks (again)They should’ve dealt Trouba when his value was high.
He has a NMC and forced his way to NYR because his wife is a Dr. there. He legit might retire before waiving that. They should’ve dealt Trouba when his value was high.
Swing and a miss there, Trouba.
Thats what I was going to say! What a f***ing wanker.
As a general rule, the methods the team use to generate offense are decided on by the players, so yes, this would be the case,Maybe it's Sid and Geno and Letang calling the shots,
I suppose a 'hands off' policy on the team's offense is technically signing off on it.but at the end of the day the coach signs off on it,
No, it means that once the team's structure is given to the players, it's up to the players to figure out how to make the offense work.and if he's NOT cool with it, but doesn't have the room's respect enough to change it, then he's a weak coach who's in the process of being tuned out, no?
His true value lies in his elbow throwing ability in the playoffs.I love how awful he looks (again)
Dallas locked up Hintz for 8 x $8.45 maybe a comparable to what Guentzel can be expected to come in at?
Such value they slapped the C on him and the fanbase applauded. His true value lies in his elbow throwing ability in the playoffs.
