A couple times this season i've started my saturday watching Quick Pitch on the mlb network (i never have time during the week).
Abby Labar is really good. I'm happy for her. Also, best i can tell, someone at the network told the wardrobe department that abby's legs should be highlighted. It was a good call - homegirl has stacy kiebler tier legs.

Another mention of my Guardians. They are great at RISP pitching again is a strength and that bullpen wow! Also Yanceyville NC own Carl Willis is the pitching coach.

I would hope not. Every player in the field other than the center fielder did their very best to f*** that up. Including the runner ignoring his third base coach.
As awful as this was, at least these dudes were high schoolers. Will Wright was an MLB player when he did this shit three years ago yesterday:

While last weekend's games were good and had my heart racing, this is a little steep. This is up there with UNC dook hoops prices.

It's wild. I paid $14 to see them at the Bosh in April.
It's a single listing. There is another stupid listing (~1500 per ticket) but there are plenty of other available listings that are more "reasonable". Still too damn expensive at up to ~300 per ticket.
Prices for sporting events and concerts have gotten stupid, but this is an obvious outlier that no one is purchasing. I've seen listings for random games for thousands a few times. Even like a tuesday night regular season type game. I always assume a significant other wants the ticket owner to sell, so the obvious stupid price allows them to say "i tried but no one wanted them!" lol
That was a great game and ratings have been highest for Carolina’s games.
Btw: check out Clemson’s CF Willie Mays type catch saving the game in the bottom of the 10th. Best catch I’ve ever seen at the College/Pro level.

I had looked at going to Saturday's game, literal cheapest ticket you could find was $180
NCAA leaves a lot of money on the table by mandating the $20 price (they keep 75% of the revenue too). Baseball typically loses money and keeping pricing that low eliminates the possibility of more d1 programs at least breaking even by getting to Omaha.
Re: $8k price. I’m assuming that is an mis-post by a seller. I’ve seen that type of very high price a few times for Canes playoff games too.
I am toying with going to Omaha for the weekend. It's been on my sports bucket list and what greater time. Have fam in Kansas City so I can see them, too. The prices are surprisingly not too bad..around $40 for the day games and $80 for the evening.
It's the uncertainty of the schedule that's holding me back. I don't think they will announce dates and times until GA/NCSU concludes. I am hoping for Fri/Sun for the Heels. I am going to Ireland for vacay next week so that's a lot of plane time in a short window and my tolerance is low already lately.
