Token waiver wire fodder on our 4th line while better players and prospects toil in the minors. Why is Brown in this lineup exactly?

Because Dorion traded for him and DJ wants to play him!Why is Brown in this lineup exactly?
I would still take Brass over Sok but to each their ownBetter than what we had this year... IF Sokolov can skate.
Could have gotten Eli Tolvanen via waivers for free on 12 December.Token waiver wire fodder on our 4th line while better players and prospects toil in the minors.
I'm glad they are giving him a rest. He needs it. He needs to recharge at least. Have not heard why he's out specifically but he hasn't been able to bring it the last couple for what ever reason. I would not doubt if he's been dinged up for a while. The were saying on the radio Tkachuk is out, so that sucks but I'm glad Sokolov is getting a shot

Dorion is where the buck stops; don't forget his role!Better question is why did we trade for him in the first place?
Patrick Brown is the textbook definition of a waiver wire quality player. Not NHL level at basically anything but faceoffs, which is actually something we're not in desperate need of since Giroux and Kastelic are two of the better faceoff men in the league.
Hilarious indictment of our pro scouting staff (and DJ for that matter) that they thought Brown and Gambrell were worthy of trading picks for, while passing on superior players on the waiver wire consistently.
Jost was worth a look too.Could have gotten Eli Tolvanen via waivers for free on 12 December.

I wonder if DJ had a role in making this trade. Dorion has to go asap.Jost was worth a look too.
Sonny Milano as well

I am looking forward to seeing Sokolov play again. Might as well give him an opportunity to show what he can do at the NHL level during these "meaningful games"!Yeah, maybe. I'm not the biggest Soko supporter. Like I said, let's see how his skating is.
Sorry to say but dude isn't an NHL player with that skating and pace. Gonna be a Europe/KHL league player.
Yeah very obvious miss my dorion on that one. I would really like to know the rational on some moves. But I was told by hf Sens tolvanen was just an offensive ahlerCould have gotten Eli Tolvanen via waivers for free on 12 December.
