Carrick threw a big hit in the corner and the Pred came off the bench and challenged him about 10 seconds later. Carrick quickly threw off his gloves and accepted the challenge. Not sure what you want Johnston to do there. If anything it’s on Sam to decline the fight request, for throwing a clean hit, at the end of his shift.

Lindstrom has actually been pretty good paired with Fowler. It’s between Lindstrom, LaCombe and Vaak for the healthy scratch right now. Verbeek could give LaCombe some development time in San Diego, but he is resistant to that for some reason.
