He was a UFA, and Joe Will signed his deal. If it had been Wilson, he would have had the Doug Wilson Special--a three team trade list--that makes it effectively impossible to trade the player without his permission.

So another time that Joe Will did work he really should not have been doing while looking for a new GM. There was way to much of that happening for the couple months he was a interim GM.

This seems very over-dramatic. The only guy we have with any value at all is Duclair, and I wouldn’t be upset to keep him around.
