All the images in the first post are broken for me. Feels like bad omen but also fitting for the state of the franchise.
what images?

My conspiracy theory rankings, in order:
1) Utah. Bettmann just won't let them die.
2)Chicago. Too obvious for #1 but the NHL has never been subtle
3)Montreal. Canada needs a favor, right?
4) Seattle. New toy needs some of its shine back.
5) Sharks. Oh yeah, we're still here?
6) Ottawa. When we said "Canada needs a favor" we didn't mean you.

I will be enraged if Chicago gets it and will call bullshit if Utah gets it. Beyond that it is what it is. Would love to see the Sharks get it but if either of those two teams get it, I call shenanigans
Good news, league rules say Toronto wins. Turns out losing in the first round this many times counts the same as not making the playoffs. I can't explain it, but I think it's kind of like when you hit the shift key half a dozen times AND IT COUNTS AS CAPS LOCK

Looking at the scout poll, if we aren't #1 overall, I feel like a trade down would be really ideal. Sounds like Montreal is really focused on the forwards, and if they think their guy will be gone at 5-7 (Demidov or Lindstrom), it would make sense, I think.

Ofcourse, for all we know Grier could be excited to take one of the forwards, but I think most of us feel it is Celebrini or dman.

Sharks drop to 3rd, trade their whole draft Ricky Williams style, to the #2 team to move up a spot, draft Eiserman. Grier & Burke high five and take the rest of the weekend off.

I'm ready for #3 pick, just so I don't get too disappointed. But I will go crazy happy if we win it. Crazy that it's tomorrow.
