Is there any comment on how it happened? Non-contact? Contact?
My initial thought was a puck to the foot and not sure if this makes me feel better or worse TBH

Just because they don’t individually have waiver or trade value doesn’t mean they can’t be a solid 4th line.Is it though? Say it's Mcginn-Carrick-Leason. That's 3 guys who probably wouldn't even get claimed on waivers.

Not sure who is feeding him this info but I have no reason to believe it isn’t accurate.

Given the player. We should hear sooner than later if it’s not serious. Today most likelyAlso sucks because it's Friday we might not get an update until next week... I feel like they are even quieter on the weekends
It generally means a collision, which could also result in an injury that’s painful and numbing short term, but doesn’t necessarily mean structural damage. So I’ll take losing an edge over an odd twist/turn in a vacuum. We’ll see.Lost a edge.. could mean ankle or knee. Not good
Probably a strain.. All this time has past.. If they are taking time to evaluate things. I think they are doing MRIs or some sort.. Maybe knee related.. God I hope im wrong.. This sucks thoughThe fact he needed help to get off worries me… most guys though it off

There's no way to ever know, but we do know that these sorts of things happen in hockey all the time. These are guys going super fast on ice with razors strapped to their feet; sometimes guys fall.Wonder if our players are overworked that fatigue (muscle or mental) lead to this incident?
IIRC we were more injury prone with Carlyle's second stint compared to Bruce and Dallas. Carlyle were known to push hard and even freak accidents happened to us. Would be interested to see some data on injury days lost.Wonder if our players are overworked that fatigue (muscle or mental) lead to this incident?
