Finally caught up to look at the draft thread. I love that the team actually spent their higher picks to build around Wilson and give him as many tools to succeed out the gate as possible. Compared to Sam where they never gave him anything and let him run for his life.
The trade up for AVT was perfectly fine. The left side if all goes well will be a monster between him and Becton, and the o-line absolutely needed more maulers. The Jets also have so many picks in this draft and next year as well that giving up 2 3rds and getting a 4th back was virtually nothing to move up. If you believe in a guy, who is considered one of the top talents in this class, you trade up and get him. Wilson's blind side should be set for a decade plus if all goes according to plan.
So happy about the Elijah Moore pick as well. He has all the talent to be a lethal weapon for Zach in this offense.
The late round picks are always crap shoots but I like that they took guys who are hybrid type players that Saleh will likely be coaching up.
