The Avs are going to trade a 3rd round pick for Nick Bjugstad and play him on the 2nd line while CMac claims they had interest in several players but the prices didn't fit what they were comfortable giving up.

If this team doesn't have a 2nd line center come Friday, there's honestly no point in watching anymore games this season. They'll be a guaranteed 1st round exit.

Crazy to think it's been eight weeks since Nuke was pulled from the lineup and he still leads the Avs in power-play goals. Mikko's the closest at 11 to Nuke's 13.

More than anything though, I just hope the Val's been able to sort things out for both his and his family's sake.
