You’re probably right about OEL. He has been far from international level but he can’t do much more in a weak franchise. But are Ekholm and Brodin really much better than Klefbom and Andersson?
Say what you want about Jonas Brodin but he earns twice as much as Erik Gustafsson. Andersson might earn a little more right now than his output but is expected to take steps forward. RFA contracts take this into account. Klefbom is on a better team now than the last two years. Should be real interresting now when Tyson Barrie is on the team. It's time for OEL to skip worlds and maybe go to the gym (a little more often) and maybe watch violent videos for a year. Or join Adam Larsson somewhere.
However the "heat" on OEL might come from management sending signals to the rest of the Coyotes about the playoff departure.
