He's moderately athletic, good technically, has no significant weaknesses and he's Japanese (perfect character to have in the squad). You will appreciate having a Japanese character in hard moments. You will get motivation and diligence. He's pretty good at everything, ambidextrous and can fill in at LCB even with left footed angles. Strengthens the CB position in the short-term with Gabriel out injured but he probably plays RB this season. From there he can defend wingers well, protect the midfield and provide inversions in the build-up, which can allow White to underlap.

Prefer to just use Saliba and Maitland-Niles/Bellerin for those roles though. Don't feel like this guy fills a need.
