It helps give an idea of where the team thinks the player will be though. If you're planning on a guy being in the NHL, no real reason to give him a two-way deal unless it's an ELC. While it's not necessarily true, it's likely this (along with the FA defense signings) means the Flyers view him as playing with the Phantoms this season.Why do you guys care about 2 way, 1 way?
