Do the bonuses count toward the cap? If not this is an incredibly team friendly deal that benefits both parties. Not sure Wyatt will want to stay next year but I truly hope Stankoven moves in. It's been obviously good for Wyatt. Can't imagine it would be less so for Logan.
He's slowing down some but still productive as hell all things considered. Love it.
Unfortunate he wouldn't do league minimum. Maybe it's wishful thinking given he is still a PPG player and not a 30-40 point guy with diminishing play.. but if he wants a cup that $4M in extra cap space could help tremendously.
You can’t be serious? League minimum?
Yes, many vets sign league minimum when they want a cup. Very common across the league.
Washed up vets are a lot different than a guy whose PPG on the top line in hockey.Yes, many vets sign league minimum when they want a cup. Very common across the league.

Not sure why I am getting blown up for posting an opinion.
David Krejci, $1M in Boston.. PPG player
Jason Spezza, $700k in Toronto, couple seasons around ..75 PPG
Patrice Bergeron $2.5M .. PPG player
I can't be bothered to look up more examples, but they are out there. My bad for thinking it would be a possibility that Pavelski might lower his salary expectations in the hopes of a cup.
