A little round-up from some other leagues around Europa who are finishing/finished
Ukraine
Shakhtar wrapped up their 3rd straight title yesterday with a 1-0 win over 2nd place Dynamo Kiev, their top prospect Georgy Sudakov scoring the GWG. Still two games to go but Shakhtar have a 7 point lead over Dynamo. Surprising Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih will finish third. But as you can expect the league has been a bit of a mess.
Turkey
With two games to go, Galatasaray (99 pts) can win the league at home against close rivals Fenerbahce (93 pts) if they avoid defeat next week on Sunday.
Greece
PAOK beat Olympiacos 2-0 today in a game that was recently postponed and now are within 1 point of leaders AEK.
With two games left it's AEK (75 pts) in the lead, with PAOK (74), Panathinaikos (71) and Olympiacos (70) right behind. The next round will see Olympiacos host AEK, and PAOK host Panathinaikos.
AEK finish at home with a relatively easy game against Lamia, while PAOK go to Aris FC for the heated Thessaloniki derby.
Denmark
This one is going to the wire as well, with 4 teams still very much in contention with only 3 games left. Reigning champions Copenhagen are tied for first place with Midtjylland, both Brøndby and Nordsjælland are just two points behind. The next round will a 1 vs 2, and 3 vs 4 matchup. After that, Brøndby seems to have the easiest schedule, while Copenhagen and Nordsjælland still play eachother on the final matchday.
Czechia
The Prague derby between Sparta and Slavia ended in a 0-0 tie this weekend which is mostly good news for Sparta, they still have a 4 point lead over Slavia and with only three games to (and two of them at home) are in a great position to become back to back champions.
Switzerland
Young Boys are closing in on their 6th title in 7 years, holding a six point lead over 2nd place Lugano with three games left.
Austria
Sturm Graz are on the verge of breaking RB Salzburg's streak of 10 consecutive titles. They hold a two point lead going into the final round. Graz play at home against Austria Klagenfurt, the bottom team in the playoffs and a team they have already beaten in their away game, 4-0. Salzburg are also at home, against 3rd placed LASK, they have to win and hope Graz doesn't. Salzburg holds the tiebreaker over Graz should they finish on equal points.
Croatia
Dinamo Zagreb took home their 7nd straight title yesterday with a 1-0 win over Osijek. Hajduk and especially Rijeka put up a good fight and kept it close for most of the season, Rijeka were actually in the lead after a fantasic streak of 13 wins in 14 games, but then collapsed and lost three straight including a deciding game against Dinamo.
Russia
I doubt many people are still checking in on the Russian Super League, might be worth mentioning that after winning 5 straight championships, Zenit are only in 2nd place at the moment after going winless for 4 games and have been overtaken by Dynamo Moscow. There are two matchdays left. Dynamo only finished 9th last season, if they can hold on it would be their first title since winning the 1976 Soviet League.
