Just curious why you're shutting the door on Dufour as an NHLer? I still see the tools are there.

Despite his improved skating I still think that part of his game is weak. My biggest issue is his lack of hockey sense.

This team would be in a much better place if Wally was half of what they thought he was capable of.

I think Lou resigns Wally to a 1 year prove it deal. I’m also not convinced Wally is fully healthy so I wouldn’t mind him coming back on a 1 year deal that could easily be buried.

That may be the case. The injury is the thing we don't really know about. If they think he was hampered by it this year they may give him one more shot.
