Of course it’s true, why do you think players look for big hits? I never questioned that, always knew that. Heck I would intentionally try it also, hit and shooting at players if they tried to block my shots.

It was true when we were 13yo kids trying to win our rec league championships. I don't even see this as saying the quiet part out loud. It's part of being competitive and if you aren't doing everything in your power to win, and doing it within the rules, then you shouldn't be there.

These are athletes at the TOP of their game. Anything less than full commitment is a waste of every ones time.
