Leafs should hire Jukka Jalonen as coach

He is a coach who knows how to win and that is just what the leafs need. He has taken several underrated Finnish teams to gold. Leafs should take the risk and go for it. What do you think?

I think they will probably chase a more established name, even if Jalonen is a great coach and totally deserves a chance.

That seems like an unnecessary Hail Mary type play for them. There are candidates sitting at home right now that have won at a lot of levels, including the NHL. Jalonen, at 61, has never coached at any level in North America.

Olympics and World Championships are also quite different from the Stanley Cup playoffs.
