I think Jagr is clearly #5 right now. Hard to ignore sustained greatness and being #2 all time in points.
Sid may overtake him in time though.
This is preposterous, lol. For one, have a look at those playoff totals...
Jagr was not at any point the guy you wanted to be the best player on your team when things got tough. There were at least five forwards in the league I would take over him during his post-"second-fiddle to Mario" peak. Sakic, Forsberg, Lindros, probably even Messier and Yzerman before they bumped over the hill. Jagr was not that guy, he wasn't going to win you the big game. Everybody knew it, this isn't a controversial or hot take.
