I wasn't close to my aunt but she passed away yesterday in her sleep I found out today, she got extremly into drinking and smoking and went to a place to recover and came back and didn't stop drinking and fell down the stairs and broke her femur or something and my uncle had to take care of her every day and she would pooh all over herself all the time (like my pops does) and had to wash and dress her all the time. Pretty sure she didn't want me around anymore and pretty much disowned me, don't know why some of the family kept lieing and saying things that wern't true just to get rid of me but you don't pick your family. RIP anyway.
oi... I grieve with you...
Hey... have alcoholism (just plain addiction) dormant and on the rampage in our genes and I know the pain there. Similar situation, w/o alcohol though, grand mums fell down and broke her hip, worked her hinder off to get back home to just relax until she shes goes to abraham, (big sleep). and fell down and broke the other hip. After so much time by so many people to make her able to die in her own home, she became a risk to herself (and yourself if you count mental anguish + physical cleaning etc) and had to be removed from her home and placed in a home medical facility.
Old fashioned, almost a hundred, and did absolutely NOTHING in terms of letting people get the money / property, and now is 0.00 dollars poor, forever wanting to go home (that no longer exists and doesn't know) and just straight out unable to die peacefully (at home).
There is a moral to this story, to forfeit 100k worth of cash + property because one daughter refuses to retire to take care of her, and the other son's spouse refuses to bring her into her home to care or let the son move down there to take care of her. 100k+ *poof*. (some of which was willed to my/ for my child) ain't life grand?
